INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS


ACCOMMODATION


The meeting will be held at the Miracle Hotel, Antalya, Turkey.

Reservations should not be made directly with the Hotel but through the Agency ZED Event Management & Consultancy.  A block booking at a special rate (60 euros full board)  has been arranged and all participants are encouraged to stay at this hotel.  Hotel booking and general information for participants are available in http://www.zedturizm.com.tr/ipcc/

 ZED is kindly requesting that the hotel booking be made before 3th April 2009.


PASSPORT AND VISA


In order to travel to Turkey, information of visa requirements and Passport and visa application form are available in:

IMPORTANT


The participants who need visa and from countries where there is no Turkish Embassy, should make a request to the following persons with copy to IPCC-Sec@wmo.int:

Required contact details:  Name, Surname, Date of Birth (year-month-day), Nationality, father's full name,
                                                 mother's full name, Institution, Passport number, date and place of issue and

                                                 date of expiry.

   

The deadline has been extended to 6 April, Monday afternoon (CET).


After this date participants won’t be able to get their visa on arrival.  Requests sent after Monday 6 April, will not be processed.


This information will be submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey who will inform customs to issue their visa upon arrival at the airport.
