COP 18

The IPCC held 2 side events on Wednesday 28 November 2012 during the 18th Conference of the Parties meeting in Doha, Qatar. The first one was on "Climate change and disaster risk management" and the second one on "Renewable energy and climate change mitigation".


Climate change and disaster risk management

Drawing on the IPCC's Special Report on Managing the Risks of Extreme Events and Disasters to Advance Climate Change Adaptation (SREX), this event examined the implications of climate-related disasters for society and sustainable development. [Full Programme]
