As the TSU’s head of science, Raphael has overall responsibility for scientific support to the Working Group III Bureau and dealing with inquiries relating to the scientific aspects of IPCC reports relevant to climate mitigation. He oversees the science team and takes the lead in the scientific aspects of planning for relevant IPCC meetings.
