For the United Nations International Day for Women and Girls in Science, IPCC author Erika Coppola and Head of the Working Group I Technical Support Unit Anna Pirani welcomed around 20 classes of students connecting from schools in Trieste, Italy and the surrounding region for an online event on women in science and climate change.
