Opening of the Sixty-third Session of the IPCC

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change is meeting in Lima, Peru, from 27 to 30 October 2025. The Panel is expected to continue discussions on the workplan of the Working Group contributions to the Seventh Assessment Report, as well as the draft outline and workplan of the Methodology Report on Carbon Dioxide Removal Technologies, Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage.

Opening Ceremony

During the opening, delegates were addressed by:
