Lucy Monckton is the Project Officer for the IPCC Working Group II Technical Support Unit (WGII TSU) during the IPCC Seventh Assessment Report cycle. She supports the coordination and delivery of Working Group II products and activities, supporting the effective implementation of the assessment process.

Her work encompasses project and operational coordination across the Working Group II programme, including the organisation of Lead Author Meetings, expert meetings, governance processes, and international collaboration activities. She contributes to the financial and administrative management of the TSU, including budget monitoring, reporting, contract administration, and operational planning.

Lucy works closely with the Working Group II Co-Chairs, Bureau, Authors, and TSU colleagues in the preparation and coordination of meetings and activities throughout the assessment cycle.

Prior to joining the IPCC, Lucy worked at the European Space Agency (ESA), where she supported project coordination and departmental operations within an international scientific environment.
