Geneva, 11 April 2012 – A new special report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) on Managing the Risks of Extreme Events and Disasters to Advance Climate Change Adaptation (SREX) <www.ipccwg2.gov/SREX> will be presented in a series of outreach events over the coming months. Events are planned for Latin America, Asia and Africa. The events will be open to the media.
