UNFCCC Climate Change Dialogues 2020

Due to the current health and safety measures put in place worldwide in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 26th UNFCCC Conference of the Parties (COP 26) and subsidiary body sessions have been postponed to 2021.

The chair of Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA), and the Chair of the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI), in collaboration with the COP 25 Presidency and incoming COP 26 Presidency launched a series of virtual events called the UN Climate Dialogues 2020, to advance work on the subsidiary bodies and COP agendas. The IPCC took part in the Climate Dialogues. These are a series of virtual events held to provide a platform for Parties to the UNFCCC and other stakeholders to showcase progress made and exchange views and idea across the subsidiary bodies and COP agenda mandated for 2020.
