Jacquelyn (Jaci) Crossman provides reference management support for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Working Group III Technical Support Unit (TSU).

Employed by Zimmerman Associates Inc., Jaci has been on assignment at NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Information in Asheville, North Carolina, since 2021, where she is a member of the NOAA TSU.

Jaci handled reference management for the Fifth US National Climate Assessment. Working closely with chapter teams on multiple drafts, she built, curated, and managed an Endnote database of more than 8,500 references. She performed quality control checks of citations on all products, embedded references into every chapter, and coordinated with the US Global Change Research Program’s Global Change Information System (GCIS) to ensure accurate transfer of all NCA5 citations into the GCIS online database.

Jaci began her career as a science librarian at NOAA’s Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, in 2019. She is proficient in the reference management software programs Endnote, Zotero, and Mendeley.

Jaci holds a bachelor’s degree from East Carolina University and a master’s in Library and Information Science from the University of North Carolina Greensboro.
