The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) will be taking part in the 62nd meetings of the Subsidiary Bodies of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (IPCC)in Bonn, Germany from 16 to 26 June 2025. The meetings aim to drive forward progress on key issues and prepare decisions for adoption at the upcoming thirtieth Conference of the Parties (COP30), also known as the UN Climate Change Conference, in November 2025.
The IPCC will be taking part in the following:
16 June:
IPCC Secretary Abdalah Mokssit speech during the opening of the 62nd Session of the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA 62) and the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI 62)
17 June:
Keynote speech by IPCC Chair Jim Skea and presentation from the Working Group I co-Chairs at the Research Dialogue.
18 June:
IPCC Side Event – Informing Climate Action: The science & cross-cutting topics of IPCC’s Seventh Assessment Report, 10.30 am, Berlin Room
